Instead of testing the opponent’s resolve, the player can try to attack him verbally. Additionally, special arguments can become active as a result of cards or other abilities, these arguments can damage the opponent’s resolve or provide other boosts, among other effects, as long as they remain active. As in combat, the player receives information on the movements that the opponent will make. The cards here represent friendly negotiations which usually don’t have negative effects, although hostile comments can trigger some effects. The goal of negotiations is to bring the opponent’s resolution to zero before the player character. Your fate is determined by your choices, and by fate Negotiations are conducted similarly to combat, although they take place between the player character and a single enemy.
